Toxic - A New Color Pencil Piece!

I had been wanting to strengthen my colored pencil portrait drawing skills and was trying to think of a colorful character to practice on. Then it came to me...... I am a huge fan of actress Uma Thurman and a huge fan of the character Poison Ivy (I even dressed up as her a few years back for Halloween). And when Uma was casted to play Ivy I was nothing but ecstatic. And then I thought about how beautiful she looked in the role and not to mention the beautiful colors of her costume and hair...... and it inspired me to get my Prisma Colors out!

Christina Ricci Portrait

Christina Ricci has been one of my favorite actresses ever since I was a little girl. When I saw the Addams Family movie she stole my heart with her "Wanna Play A Game?"........ "Is There A God?" line! Later on I find out we have the same birthday!! Both born on February 12th!!! Only she was born just 1 year before I was! I have been hooked on her ever since.. she has grown up to be a beautiful curvy woman and an amazingly talented actress. And I love the fact that she finds challenging and daring roles to play and can really pull them off.. because of her I was inspired to do another art piece...... A portrait of her beautiful face in tribute to what I have looked up to all these years!

Thank you Sheri Moon Zombie and the Total Skull Meet & Greet!

Last night me and my fiance' Frank were given the opprotunity to go back stage at the Rob Zombie/Ozzy Osbourne show thanks to the lovely Sheri Moon Zombie and Total Skull!!!!



Backstage I was able to give her the original Living Dead Girl portrait I did of her and Rob!!!

She loved it and told me she was going to put it somewhere safe in her dressing room until they left!!! It was so great to get to see Sheri once again and be able to actually hand her a piece of my original artwork!!! She is such a doll and so good to her fans!!!
