SINderella - Mistress of the Dark AKA Elvira :)

Well most of you know I am into a lot of dark creepy fun things. Growing up and to this day I have always admired Elvira the Mistress of the Dark. She was sexy, beautiful, funny, witty, sarcastic but stayed true to her dark creepy mysterious self!

One of my favorite quotes of hers is
"If this makes anyone in the audience feel sick, put your head between your knees and enjoy yourselves!" Elvira

I have ALWAYS wanted to meet her. And found out earlier this year that she plans on visiting my home town for a horror con and I was so excited I drew a little something up for her. I plan on framing it and giving it to her in person! I can not wait!

Toxic - A New Color Pencil Piece!

I had been wanting to strengthen my colored pencil portrait drawing skills and was trying to think of a colorful character to practice on. Then it came to me...... I am a huge fan of actress Uma Thurman and a huge fan of the character Poison Ivy (I even dressed up as her a few years back for Halloween). And when Uma was casted to play Ivy I was nothing but ecstatic. And then I thought about how beautiful she looked in the role and not to mention the beautiful colors of her costume and hair...... and it inspired me to get my Prisma Colors out!

Christina Ricci has been one of my favorite actresses ever since I was a little girl. When I saw the Addams Family movie she stole my heart with her "Wanna Play A Game?"........ "Is There A God?" line! Later on I find out we have the same birthday!! Both born on February 12th!!! Only she was born just 1 year before I was! I have been hooked on her ever since.. she has grown up to be a beautiful curvy woman and an amazingly talented actress. And I love the fact that she finds challenging and daring roles to play and can really pull them off.. because of her I was inspired to do another art piece...... A portrait of her beautiful face in tribute to what I have looked up to all these years!
